University Museum, First Floor Sutton Hall
This exhibition represents an outstanding 60+ year career as an artist, mentor, and educator. Paintings on display are from the artist’s personal collection and the University Museum’s permanent collection in addition to others generously on loan from private collections. The exhibit will also feature a video interview with the artist.
This exhibit is open Tuesday, January 26, through Saturday, March 20, in the University Museum, located on the first floor of Sutton Hall. The University Museum welcomes visitors during the following hours:
2:00–5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday,
Special Saturday hours of 2:00–5:00 p.m. on March 6, 13, and 20.

Gorell Auditorium
The Lively Arts is delighted to host the Johnstown Symphony
Orchestra Principal String Quartet to perform “I Sing America,” a patriotic
salute highlighting the contribution of female composers.
Designed to
complement a
gallery of women artists, this program showcases the melodic and energetic works of
women
composers, including famed suffragette Ethel Smyth, award-winning
American
composers Gabriela Lena Frank and Jessie Montgomery, as well as the
evocative
music of George Walker. The program concludes with a youthful quartet of
Beethoven.
