Squawkfest Clarinet Day Guest Recital

DiCicco Hall, 121 Cogswell Hall

The recital features our Squawkfest Clarinet Day guest artists. Yevgeny Dokshansky, professor of clarinet at Virginia Tech, will present a varied program of music for clarinet. Amanda Morrison (Slippery Rock University), Lynda Dembowski (Towson University), and Rosemary Engelstad (IUP) will join him in an arrangement of Blackbird for clarinet quartet.

Don Giovanni was considered as the most personal opera for Mozart. Scenes from Don Giovanni were heavily featured in the infamous movie Amadeus (1984), which won eight Academy Awards. The Stone Guest scene is one of the most spine-chilling scenes in the history of opera. However, the comic scenes and characters are also memorable.

In this co-production, faculty from the departments of Music and of Theatre, Dance, and Performance will join forces with the outstanding students to present one of the most powerful operas of all time.

The ticket prices for this show are as following:

Regular: $18

Senior(60+), Military, Non-Student I-Card: $15

Under 18: $12

IUP Student (Limit 4): $12

*Please note there is additional fee of $3 per ticket when purchasing on the day of the show.
