Now in its 12th year, Poetry Out Loud is a
national recitation program sponsored by the National Endowment for the
Arts and the Poetry Foundation, and in Pennsylvania, is promoted and
facilitated regionally for the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts by one
of the 14 partners in the Arts-in-Education partnership.
The public is invited to attend this free poetry recitation competition, featuring the school champions of participating high schools from the five-county ArtsPath region of Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Indiana, and Jefferson counties.
NOTE: In the event of inclement weather, the competition will be held on Monday, February 6, same time and same location.
