The IUP Language, Literature, and Writing Department is committed to the value of the study abroad experiences.
All IUP Spanish majors are required to participate in a study abroad experience of a minimum of four weeks.
Spanish minors and other students who want to improve their language fluency are also encouraged to participate in our study abroad programs. IUP students may take advantage of one of the Spanish departmental programs in Valladolid, Spain, or Cuernavaca, Mexico.
Students may also choose to participate in other non-departmentally sponsored programs or exchanges, like those in Puebla, Mexico, Germany, France, or other countries. For information on non-departmental programs, contact the IUP Office of International Education.
