The Department of Language, Literature and Writing held the annual IUP Spring Methodology Conference on Foreign Language Teaching on Friday, April 25, 2025.

The 2025 keynote speaker was Leslie Grahn, who gave a keynote and workshop titled “Student Agency: Empowering Our Diverse Learners” and a workshop titled “Engaging Diverse Learners Through Choice.”
Additional presentations included:

- “Gaming your way into community engagement and impact,” Silvina Orsatti, University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg
- “The Do’s & Don’ts of Authentic Resources,” Michael Bogdan, Pennsylvania State Education Association
