The Health and Physical Education Program held an all-day conference for certified teachers from around western Pennsylvania. The training included sessions on adapted physical education, sex education, addictive substances, school wellness, and outdoor education pursuits.
There were 46 teachers, including 24 alumni, in attendance from 14 different school districts. Students in the HPE program also attended and were able to network with certified teachers.
This conference is an annual event that partners with the ARIN Intermediate Unit 28 to provide Act 48 hours for attendees.
