Our September 2021 update for D2L included the New Discussion Experience.
The New Discussion Experience updates the user evaluation experience when assessing a topic or an individual learner, allowing instructors to review and evaluate discussion contributions. This new experience involves a new page layout, with evaluation tools and the post being displaying side-by-side.
The New Discussion Experience will be the default assessment feature as of December 2021. Until then, you have the option to leave it ON or turn it OFF. If you leave it turned on to work with it and then turn it off, you can leave feedback on your experience with the New Discussion Experience.
