The Social Justice and Civic Engagement Living-Learning Community is located in Delaney Hall. This LLC welcomes students who are interested in civic engagement, social activism, inclusivity, and learning about how to become an active part of the solutions through community engagement.

LLC Highlights

  • Programs and activities are intentionally designed around the theme of social justice with a number of the programs designed to have an international link to the above curricula.
  • Work with faculty and staff members to ensure issues of social justice on the IUP campus are discussed.
  • Have the opportunity to take trips and engage in learning experienced outside of the classroom.
  • Enhance the IUP campus and surrounding area via service learning and volunteering for those in need.
  • Have access to resources rooms that are dedicated to social justice and civic engagement.

  • Law and Society Cluster: This cluster offers students the opportunity to meet and interact with others interested in law school and the legal profession while taking advantage of various resources and activities throughout the community.
  • Social Justice Cluster: The Social Justice Cluster serves to provide students with a platform to learn about and discuss different topics while promoting diversity and valuing individual differences.
