Residents are responsible for their own key/I-Card and for their access to their room/suite. In the event of a lockout, the following applies:
Students can sign out a temporary access card or key to their space at their hall office for a 15-minute time frame in order to regain access to their room/suite. The first two lockouts are free of charge. After the second lockout, the following applies:
- Third lockout: $10 fee (billed to IUP student account)
- Every lockout after the third results in a $15 fee as well as a meeting with the residence hall director of the community.
