Students from IUP’s Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism, and Event Management program attended the MPI Pittsburgh Annual Awards Event, where their exceptional contributions to the chapter were celebrated.
The MPI Student Chapter president, Grace Gallagher, received the Student Member of the Year Award—an honor that recognizes individuals who exemplify academic excellence and community leadership. This award celebrates her remarkable leadership within the MPI chapter and broader community. Through active involvement in clubs and initiatives, she has inspired peers and driven meaningful change, embodying the very best of our program’s values.
In addition, our dedicated chapter advisor, Nicole Clevenger, was honored with the Partner of the Year Award, acknowledging her unwavering support and commitment to student success. Clevenger’s guidance has been instrumental in fostering growth and creating opportunities for future hospitality leaders.
