On Wednesday, April 13, we take back the night for survivors of sexual assault. Join us in the Oak Grove to show your support.

  • Virtual Speak Out: recording available at 4:00 p.m.

Members of the Haven Project will give a voice to survivor’s stories via Haven Project social media, the Haven Project website, and IUP’s YouTube channel
  • Chalk the Walk: 6:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m.

Help us chalk messages of support throughout the Oak Grove. All materials and messages will be provided.

  • Lighting of the Luminaries: 7:30 p.m.

Each luminary represents the number of students that have been impacted by sexual violence on our campus.  One thousand, seven hundred and eighty-three lights on display, white to represent the TGQN (transgender, gender queer, and gender non-conforming) community, purple to represent women, and teal to represent men.

  • Words of Support: 7:45 p.m.
