Please join Dr. Tad T. Gorske from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine for a Zoom lecture discussing the medical health of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Data drawn from a sample of patients seen in an outpatient clinical setting will be used to discuss the impact of COVID-19 on the human body with particular emphasis being placed upon its impact on the central nervous system. Neuropsychological sequalae associated with a subset of patients commonly referred to as COVID long haulers will be reviewed and case studies will be used to highlight important considerations for the assessment and management of these cases. Recommendations for patient care will be provided.
