Noël Diarra, the minister counselor of the Embassy of Mali, will give a presentation titled “The Alliance of Sahel States at the Crossroads of Global Security Challenges.”
Diarra will discuss the goals and challenges of this mutual defense pact that his nation recently formed with Niger and Burkina Faso. All three countries have been affected by conflicts involving insurgent groups.
