The Ambassador of Mali to the United States, His Excellency Sekou Berthé, will give a lecture titled "West and Central Africa at the Crossroads of Global Security Challenges."
The ambassador will discuss local rebels and international networks such as ISIS and Al-Qaeda operating in Sub-Saharan Africa. He will also describe US and European cooperation with African governments on security issues.
The event is free and open to the public. Attendance vouchers will be provided.
