Yongtao Cao will give a two-part workshop on data analytics on Thursday, March 21, and Thursday, March 28.

Data and analytics play a pivotal role in shaping businesses and society at large. In the field of data analytics, Python and Google Colab have proven to be invaluable assets in achieving good results. In this hands-on workshop, Cao will introduce participants to some basic data scientist skills, techniques, and concepts using popular Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Scikit-learn, and Statsmodels. Topics include an overview of Markdown in Google Colab, data importing, data wrangling, data visualization, hypothesis testing, and statistical modeling. Since we will be using Google Colab, participants need to have a Google account.

Since this is a hands-on workshop and computer space is limited, please sign up in advance.
