Professor Yu-Ju Kuo of the Mathematical and Computer Sciences Department will present the first of two hands-on workshops on using MATLAB, a programming and numeric computing platform used to analyze data, develop algorithms, and create models.
This workshop will cover the basics of using MATLAB/Octave, including working with vectors and matrices, defining mathematical functions,plotting graphs of functions, and creating animations.
Space in the computer lab is limited so register online.
