The IUP Organ Studio will present a benefit concert at Zion Lutheran Church, located at 100 South Sixth and Church Streets. The musical program is called “Some Advent Lessons and Carols: Tidings of Joy.” This event will include audience participation with hymn singing, meaningful readings for the holiday season, organ improvisations, and solo repertoire rendered by the organ students.
The recital is free. Everyone who attends is encouraged to bring nonperishable food items or make donations to benefit the Chevy Chase Community Center’s mission. Please, join us, and give as you are able, contributing to our neighbors who are in need.
