The University Band of the IUP Community Music School and IUP Music Department will present a traditional summer band concert of patriotic music, marches, and other band favorites on the patio of Fisher Auditorium in the IUP Oak Grove. In the event of rain, it will be held in DiCicco Hall (Room 121) of Cogswell Hall.

IUP President Michael Driscoll will guest narrate on a selection, and the featured soloist on “Yankee Doodle for Piccolo and Band” will be IUP flute professor Terri Wacker. The conductor of the group is IUP music professor Jason Worzbyt.

While there are a few outdoor benches in the Grove and the area, everyone is encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, as well as a favorite non-alcoholic beverage. Don't miss this fun and free outdoor summer concert!
