Indiana Community Choir Christmas Concert

The IUP Community Music School's Indiana Community Choir, under the direction of Scott Salser, will present it's Fall performance as a Christmas concert.  Selections will include When the Herds Were Watching by Richard Voohaar; Quem Pastores Laudavere, a 14th c. carol, arr. by Susan LaBarr; Sinfonia Sacra by Daniel Pinkham, which will include use of the Ronald G. Pogorzelski and Lester D. Yankee Memorial Organ and brass; Fum, Fum, Fum, a traditional Spanish carol, arr. by Ed Lojeski; God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen: A Choral Fantasy by Mark Riese; Waltz for an Open Sleigh by Dan Davison; and Silent Night by Franz Gruber and arr. by Sir Malcolm Sargent.

Admission: $5 regular; $3 seniors, I-Card holders, students, and children; tickets are cash/check only, available M-F, 12:00–5:00 p.m. Dec. 3–15 at the Performing Arts Center Box Office, and then at the door one hour prior to the performance. For more information, call the Lively Arts at 724-357-2787, or email lively-arts@iup.edu.
