Guest Artist Recital: Judith Saxton, trumpet

Gorell Recital Hall, Second Floor Sutton Hall The Lively Arts

Judith Saxton enjoys a multi-faceted career as an international soloist, chamber and orchestral musician and educator and has been lauded as a “virtuoso player and superb soloist”. A Certified Alexander Technique Teacher (ATI), Judith embodies  these principles in all her interactions including her “Healthy Playing Habits” and “Breathing, Breaks and Basics for Mindful Music Making” presentations for universities and festivals and populations of varying ages across the nation and the world –  including International Trumpet Guild (ITG), Eastern Music Festival (EMF), Roads Scholars, Trumpet Festival of the South East, and International Women’s Brass Conference and elder personal care facilities. Observation, awareness and ease of movement are integral to her trumpet playing and teaching.    This event is part of "TrumpetFest 2018" and is free and open to the general public.
