Description:This talk explores the threats that botnets pose to the mining of cryptocurrencies. The talk will go over a brief history of botnet-inspired threats, operational mechanisms of botnets and an in-depth look at signicant botnets that have attacked cryptocurrencies. Countermeasures and implications for growing cryptocurrency usage will also be presented.

Description: Everybody has a specific personality type (e.g., extrovert, introvert, etc.) This talk will look at whether specific personality types are more likely to choose stronger passwords or behave more securely. Further, the talk will discuss ways to target specific personalities to change security behavior.
