Student Application Form

(to be completed by student)

The John J. Prandy Memorial Award was established in memory of the late Corporal John "Jack" Prandy, a 23-year veteran with the Pennsylvania State Police Force. Those individuals who contributed to the creation of the fund have determined that an annual award will be given to a criminology student who intends to pursue a career in law enforcement.

This award will be presented at the departmental graduation ceremonies in May to the student who best meets the following criteria, as selected by the faculty of the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice:

  1. Must be an officially declared major in criminology and has achieved junior standing (at least60 credits).
  2. Has achieved a 3.0 grade point average overall.
  3. Demonstrated involvement in community and/or campus activities, with preference given to those involving children and their welfare.

Applications are online.

Applications will be due Friday, April 9, 2021.
