The IUP Counseling Center is offering a safe place to talk about the recent shooting during homecoming weekend on Wednesday, October 11 at 4:30 p.m. at the Center for Health and Well-Being located at G-18 Suites on Maple East.

It is typical to experience a variety of emotions following a traumatic event. These feelings can include shock, sadness, numbness, fear, anger, and grief. You may have trouble sleeping, concentrating, or eating. The support of a caring community can help lesson the emotional impact of tragedy.

If you are unable to make the group or feel like you would like to talk to someone, please reach out to the Counseling Center at 724-357-2621 or counseling-center@iup.edu. Walk-in hours are Monday-Friday, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
