Housing
The College of Osteopathic Medicine students will have the opportunity for on-campus and off-campus housing. On-campus housing includes centrally located Northern Suites that will provide a reserved floor for the College of Osteopathic Medicine students, adjacent to the university campus main dining hall and overlooking a beautiful community garden. The spaces are primarily occupied by graduate students with ample space for quiet study and community gatherings. IUPCOM does not endorse any specific off-campus housing; however, students may choose from numerous living options in the Indiana area.
Apply to IUP College of Osteopathic Medicine
IUPCOM participates with other osteopathic colleges in a centralized application processing service called the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine Application Service (AACOMAS). To initiate the application process, prospective students must apply directly to AACOMAS.
Applicants are strongly recommended to submit an AACOMAS application by December 1, 2026, however, applications can be received and processed through April 1, 2027 for matriculation by Fall of 2027.
Pathways
The Indiana University of Pennsylvania College of Osteopathic Medicine has developed pathways into the program that support academically qualified students to earn a provisionally reserved seat or a guaranteed interview.
Students who attend any of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) schools who meet the academic and professionalism standards will be offered a guaranteed interview to IUPCOM.
