Neural network modeling is a multidisciplinary research area. This in part is the reason that this research is done in collaboration with Professor Raymond Pavloski of Psychology department, here at IUP.

Most of the Neural Network Models that are amenable to mathematical analysis typically have a structure very different from the biology of the brain, or are based on questionable analogies between human cognition and computers... Our interest in this area is directed in development of Neural Network Models that are amenable to mathematical analysis, has a structure much like that found in certain major brain networks, and has psychological properties that naturally emerge from the structure of the network. We have already developed a self-trapping network that satisfies all these requirements.
