Join the IUP Career and Professional Development Center on Wednesday, September 7, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Oak Grove (rain location is Jane E. Leonard Hall Lobby) for its annual fall open house, Goal in the Grove.

Learn more about how the CPDC can help you in your future career plans and hear about some of the valuable programming we have planned this fall, with events such as our Career Ready Seminar Series and Professional Panel Series. We’ll also have team members there to answer questions, meet students, and discuss other programs and services in our department, such as Handshake, the Washington Center Internship Program, résumé reviews, life design, and more!

Representatives from the Office of Alumni and Constituent Engagement and the Office of Annual Giving will also be in attendance. There will be lots of giveaways, candy, and free food for attendees.

Kelsey Thompson, associate director of the IUP CPDC, is excited to kick off the fall semester with one of our longstanding events. "Goal in the Grove is such a great way to kick off the fall semester each year," Thompson said. "Our team is looking forward to being in the Oak Grove and meeting students so that we can share how the CPDC can support them throughout their time at IUP and thereafter. We have a fun day planned full of giveaways and free food—come and see us!"
