Join the IUP Career and Professional Development Center on Wednesday, November 3, at 6:00 p.m. in the Elkin Hall Great Room for Bills, Budgets, and Benefits 2.0.

We know that financial wellness is an important skill for all professionals to master, and the secret is not always just more money. It's about effectively managing the money you have and determining what your goals and values are, both in college as well as after. This workshop will cover tips, tricks, and tools to understand budgeting, debt, planning for retirement, and more helpful money saving/managing tips as you begin your professional career—and there’s no reason you can’t start using some of these tips now!

This session will be led by representatives from PNC Bank and is the last installment of our fall 2021 Career Ready Seminar Series, which aims to provide targeted programming to help IUP students gain and understand the necessary skills and competencies to be successful in life after graduation.

Kelsey Thompson, associate director of the CPDC, helped to coordinate the event, and stated, “We are really excited to have representatives from PNC Bank lead this workshop on effectively managing money. I know what they are planning to cover, and I firmly believe that all students can benefit from attending this event, regardless of their year in school, their major and intended career path, or what they think they know about money.”
