jamovi is an open source statistical analysis software used for research purposes.

jamovi has replaced IBM SPSS as IUP's provided statistical analysis software package.

jamovi is open-source software. On personally-owned computers, it can be downloaded for use at no charge.

Faculty/Staff: Using an IUP-issued machine?

This application can be installed with one click on IUP-issued machines using the Company Portal.

Installation Instructions for Personally-owned Computers

Windows Installation Instructions

Download the latest version of jamovi by visiting https://www.jamovi.org/download.html.
Click the button that is labeled solid to download the latest stable release for your computer.
Once the download has finished, open the .exe file to begin the installation process.
Accept the User Account Control prompt - click Yes.
Click Install to start the installer.
Wait for the installation to finish. It is finished when you see "Completing jamovi ... Setup".
Click Finish.
The program can now be launched from your Start Menu.

macOS Installation Instructions

ChromeOS and iPadOS

ChromeOS: Although it is possible to install Jamovi on a ChromeOS device, it is difficult and not officially supported. Instead, we recommend that users take advantage of the IUP Virtual Computer Lab to access Jamovi regardless of device OS.

iPadOS: It is not possible to install Jamovi on an iPad. Instead, we recommend that users take advantage of the IUP Virtual Computer Lab to access Jamovi regardless of device OS.
