Andrew Yim, assistant director of the Kathleen Jones White Writing Center and second-year Composition and Applied Linguistics student, was recently interviewed on The Big Rhetorical Podcast.

The Big Rhetorical Podcast is a podcast where interviewees discuss their work across English, including rhetoric, composition, technical communications, and PhD life. In this episode, Yim discusses his work as a writing center assistant director at the Jones White Writing Center and also his new role as the graduate co-editor at the Peer Review.

In addition, Yim shares his experiences with serving as an intern for the Conference on College Composition and Communication's Wikipedia Initiative and teaching at Huaqiao University in Quanzhou, China. He also discussed strategies on applying for academic jobs and highlighted his experience with entering the job market.

Yim will begin his new position as the assistant director of the University of Nevada–Las Vegas Writing Center in July 2022.
