Andrew Yim, assistant director of the Kathleen Jones White Writing Center and second-year Composition and Applied Linguistics student, was recently interviewed on the Pedagogue podcast.

Pedagogue is a podcast that features teachers who discuss writing and their work in the field of writing. Pedagogue’s mission is to celebrate diversity and foster communities of support across universities.

In this episode, Yim discusses his work as a writing center scholar and his experience with training new tutors each semester at the Jones White Writing Center. Yim also shares his methods of providing feedback to tutees in asynchronous and synchronous appointments, especially for international students.

In addition to serving as the assistant director of the Jones White Writing Center, Yim works as an English instructor at Huaqiao University in Quanzhou, China, and is an intern for the Conference on College Composition and Communication Wikipedia Initiative.
