Next Steps
Financial Aid »
IUP encourages students to submit the FAFSA by April 15 for maximum financial aid consideration. This form becomes available in January each year, and you can submit it online. The IUP Title IV Federal School Code is 003277. For more information, you can always visit the Financial Aid website.
Housing »
Beginning in November, students who have submitted the deposit will receive the housing packet with information about selecting your room for the upcoming fall semester. Rooms are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so the earlier you decide to attend IUP, the more likely you will have your choice of housing. The Office of Housing, Residential Living, and Dining will be your source of information for on-campus living, required for freshmen.
Orientation »
All students will participate in the orientation process where they will take placement tests and register for their first semester of coursework. For freshmen, orientation is a two day process with a concurrent orientation program for parents. Transfer student orientation is a one day program. Students will receive information about how to register for an orientation program after submitting the deposit.
Forms »
After attending Orientation, but before you enroll at IUP, we will need to collect some more information from you. This information is used by the various student service offices at IUP so that we can improve your experiences here. You will use the MyIUP student portal to complete these forms.
Billing »
The Bursar’s Office handles all of the billing for IUP. Fall semester bills are generated after the Board of Governor’s sets the tuition for the upcoming academic year, usually in late July or August. You will be notified through your IUP e-mail account when the bill is available to view in IUP EasyPay, so make sure you check your e-mail regularly.
