This summer, 14 faculty and staff members completed the Virtual Life Design Studio training with funding by IUP’s Title III grant through the U.S. Department of Education and organized by the University College, where IUP’s Title III Program is housed. IUP now has a total of 24 Life Design trained employees, many of whom are teaching UNIV 101: First Learning Year course which is infused with Life Design principles.

Life Design is a creative, human-centered problem-solving framework. It was pioneered by two Stanford University faculty members, Dave Evans and Bill Burnett, who are also notable designers in their own right as well as Stanford alumni. Find out more about Dave, Bill, and the rest of the Life Design Studio team here. Learn more about Life Design at IUP’s Career and Professional Development Center.

The Stanford University’s Life Design Studio offers in-person and virtual training opportunities every year. The University College is committed to training faculty and staff through Life Design.
