John Wesley Lowery
John Wesley Lowery, professor and assistant chair of the Student Affairs, Student Success, and Disability Access Department, presented at the Association for Student Conduct Administration (ASCA) annual conference in Washington, DC, on Saturday, February 14. During his closing session, he provided an overview of recent legislative and policy developments impacting higher education and student conduct.
Lowery has been an active member of ASCA for more than three decades, delivering his widely attended legislative and public policy update at the annual conference more than 20 times.
In addition to serving in numerous leadership roles, he has received several of the association’s highest honors, including the Donald D. Gehring Award, the D. Parker Young Research Award, the Distinguished Service Award, the New Professional of the Year Award, and the Legacy of Excellence Award from the Raymond H. Goldstone ASCA Foundation.
