J.E.D.I.: Microaggressions

Zoom

Join MCSLE for a discussion on microaggressions and how they affect students' experiences. Sometimes we say things that we don't intend to be negative, or don't even know to be negative, but others can take it that way.

Join us via Zoom.

Join keynote speaker Lauren Markham for a presentation on social justice issues in Latin America. Markham is the author of The Far Away Brothers: Two Young Migrants and the Making of an American Life.

Contemporary migration is rife with toxicity mythologies about who migrants are and why they are coming to the US. This talk by author Lauren Markham will dispel these myths and provide insight into the root causes of contemporary migration to the United States from Central America.

Join us via Zoom at 5:30 p.m.
