The Office of Student Inclusion and the IUP community extend heartfelt gratitude to Chief Timothy Stringer and the IUP Police Department for their generous support of the Food Pantry & Help Center. Through their recent food drive, the department donated many boxes of food, helping to strengthen a vital resource on campus that directly assists students in need.

Over the past year, the Food Pantry & Help Center provided 4,126 swipes, serving nearly 3,000 students who turned to the pantry for food, hygiene items, and other basic necessities. With demand continuing to grow, contributions like this are essential to ensuring the pantry can meet the needs of the IUP community.

While the pantry is proud to serve so many students, the need for additional resources remains high. The following items are especially needed:

  • Cereal
  • Canned vegetables and soup
  • Canned ravioli and SpaghettiOs
  • Crackers (peanut butter or cheese crackers, Cheez-Its)
  • Microwavable/instant noodles
  • Microwavable mac ’n’ cheese
  • Microwavable mashed potatoes
  • Microwavable spaghetti and meatballs
  • Microwavable ravioli
  • Bottled water
  • Boxed foods (mac ’n’ cheese)
  • Stove Top rice and noodle sides
  • Ramen noodles
  • Peanut butter
  • Grape or strawberry jelly
  • Granola bars
  • Variety packs of chips/pretzels
  • Individual cups of fruit

The IUP community is encouraged to continue supporting the Food Pantry & Help Center through donations of food, hygiene products, or monetary gifts. Every contribution makes a direct impact on students’ lives.

On behalf of the entire IUP community, thank you to Chief Stringer and the IUP Police Department for your generosity, leadership, and continued partnership in caring for our students.
