IUP Police have been informed by Indiana Borough Police of a report made early this morning that a group of individuals walking off campus on Garman Avenue were approached by unknown persons in a car that had a firearm.
Shortly after the report, Indiana Borough Police found and arrested the individuals.
Throughout the incident, police determined that there was not an imminent threat to the IUP community related to this report.

- Trust your instincts. If you feel unsafe, get to a safe place and call for help.
- Avoid confrontations.
