Nominations for the 2026-2027 Distinguished University Professor award are now open. This is a lifetime achievement award for IUP faculty who have demonstrated an outstanding career record of teaching, research/scholarship/artistic activities, and service. In keeping with the prestigious nature of the award, selection for this honor is highly competitive. Distinguished University Professors serve as model faculty members, mentors, and ambassadors for IUP and its mission.
Please note: Only tenured full professors who have completed 10 years of employment at IUP are eligible for this award. Any member of the IUP community may nominate a faculty member. Self-nominations are also welcome!
