IUP Police received reports earlier today from two individuals with concerns about flyers with information about the Ku Klux Klan found on the sidewalks near the IUP post office.

The individuals removed and discarded these flyers, which were not approved for university posting.

IUP Police and Indiana Borough Police have been looking for additional flyers throughout the day; no additional flyers have been found.

Pittsburgh area media have reported that flyers similar to the ones found on campus have been found in Pittsburgh: Police seek surveillance video after KKK flyers found in Tarentum, Brackenridge; more found at IUP.

IUP Police is available 24-7 if you have concerns about safety; you can contact them at 724-357-2141.

Students and employees also have a mechanism to report an incident of concern online through the Office of Social Equity.

There are many offices and resources here to support you.More information about available resources is on the IUP website.
