Diversity Peer Educator Program

  • Calling all ambitious, energetic, social justice advocates to become members of the Diversity Peer Educator Program. You can make a difference on campus!

Students benefit from diversity and multicultural training, diverse group interaction, and the creation of an inclusive campus environment. The program was initiated at IUP during the 2013–14 academic year. It expanded in 2014–15 and included presentations at the IUP Punxsutawney campus. Program topics included “How to Identify Sexism,” “The World through LGBT Eyes,” and “What does Race Mean to You?” Events, retreats, and presentations were again conducted during the 2015–16 academic year. Multiple presentations and events took place in 2016–17, 2017-18, and have again been planned for 2018–19.
