Award winners from the 2024 Scholars Forum were recently recognized at an awards reception in the Blue Room of Sutton Hall. 
The reception, sponsored by the IUP Research Institute, celebrated the award-winning research conducted by graduate and undergraduate students across all disciplines. Awards included best poster presentation, best oral presentation, and the Dean's Award for Excellence.
Special awards were also presented for excellence in writing (sponsored by the Kathleen Jones White Writing Center), excellence in data analysis (sponsored by the Applied Research Lab), women in STEM (sponsored by Kopchick College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics), best computational science poster (sponsored by S-COAM), and IUP's chapter of Sigma Xi honor society. The 2024 winners of the Three Minute Thesis competition were also recognized.
