Once the faculty submits the form, the chairperson will receive an email, “Etrieve Flow Notification,” from noreply-softdocs@iup.edu. The email simply states:

The workflow package ‘Change of Grade’ submitted by Daniel Burkett for *student name* has been submitted by *instructor name* and is available for your review.

To access it, please click here.

The click here is a live link to SoftDocs that will take you to the screen below. You can see the form. (I have removed some personal information, but the student’s name and ID will be there, as well as the old and new grade, etc. In the black bar at the bottom of the form, click Approve, Deny, or Return, for no action until later. Once you approve, it moves on to the next person—student to chair of the course, to A-Dean of the course, to the Registrar.  

If you need to check before approving, you hit Return and can then return using the email link if you need to delay action.   There will be more general instructions on SoftDocs coming, but for now, this is how we can move the change of grade along.
