About the IUP Procurement Technical Assistance Center

  • The IUP Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) provides procurement technical assistance to firms interested in selling goods or services to local, state, and/or federal governments.

    Additional Services

    In addition to technical assistance in selling goods or services to local, state, and/or federal governments, The IUP PTAC provides individualized assistance with marketing strategies to reach government agencies.

    Funding Source and Regional Service Area

    The IUP PTAC is funded by a cooperative agreement with the US Department of Defense. Together with our affiliate in Pittsburgh , we service businesses in Allegheny, Armstrong, Fayette, Indiana, and Westmoreland counties.

    Procurement Technical Assistance Program

    The IUP PTAC is part of a national assistance program administered by the Defense Logistics Agency (Department of Defense) and is commonly referred to as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP).

    This procurement technical assistance center is funded in part through a PTAP cooperative agreement with the Defense Logistics Agency.  The content of any written materials or verbal communications of the PTAC does not necessarily reflect the official views of or imply endorsement by DOD or DLA.

    Management Services Group

    The IUP PTAC is part of the Management Services Group (MSG), an umbrella organization for the IUP Eberly College of Business and Information Technology.
