Colleagues,

I am sorry to inform you that Betty Wallwork, the wife of longtime trustee Gealy Wallwork, died Sunday, March 16.

Mrs. Wallwork was known to many as a gourmet cook who hosted a number of dinners for her ever-growing family. She was a collector of antiques and avid gardener who, in earlier years, sang in her church choir and the Johnstown Symphony Chorus. She was also a member and past president of the Shaver Springs chapter of the Questers.

Mrs. Wallwork joined her husband of 61 years in being very proud that 11 of their family members are graduates of IUP, soon to be joined by a granddaughter who will receive her degree in May of next year.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Wallwork is survived by her three children, 11 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Wallwork will be Friday, March 21, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home in Indiana. Family and friends may also visit on Saturday, March 22, at Sovereign Grace Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sovereign Grace Church, 921 Hospital Road, Indiana.
