Veterans Day is the day set aside to thank and honor all those who served honorably in the military - in wartime or peacetime.
IUP is honored to be home to almost 600 student-veterans. We are proud of our employees who are veterans and our distinguished Military Science program. Today, MG Leslie A. Purser, a 1980 graduate of IUP and one of only 10 two-star generals in the U.S. Army Reserve, will be our guest speaker for tonight's Six' O'Clock Series program in the Hadley Union Building Ohio Room. She will be speaking about leadership as a woman in a traditionally male-dominated career field. I hope, as your schedules permit, that you will attend tonight's Six O'Clock Series.
