With the candidate interviews complete, the IUP presidential search moves into its next phase. The Presidential Search Committee will meet to discuss the five candidates and narrow the pool on Monday, December 12, 2011.
If a decision is reached, the names of the selected candidates will be forwarded to the Council of Trustees for approval during its quarterly meeting on Thursday, December 15.
Following the trustees meeting, a letter identifying the selected candidates will be sent to the chancellor and Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education in Harrisburg, who make the final decision. The committee has been assured that the candidates will be interviewed in a timely manner, with a decision expected early in the spring semester.
