The Presidential Search Committee met on Monday, May 23, 2011, with our consultant, John Thornburgh of Witt-Kiefer, the firm hired to assist in the search. The search is on schedule, and the committee is comfortable with the process as it has been outlined.
We have a talented, enthusiastic committee, and we feel strongly that IUP has a great deal to offer for candidates aspiring to be our next president.
The IUP community will have numerous opportunities to participate as we move forward. Mr. Thornburgh intends to contact the various constituencies both online and in person as the candidate profile is developed. In addition, the search website will be updated frequently, and we will keep the university well informed of our progress.
