Captain Luis Carlos Montalván is the New York Times bestselling author of Until Tuesday: A Wounded Warrior and the Golden Retriever Who Saved Him. Montalván, a 17-year veteran of the U.S. Army, including multiple combat tours in Iraq, honorably departed the military in 2007, and “Tuesday” is Montalván’s beloved service dog.
