Hannibal Appointed Teaching Excellence Director

Mary Anne Hannibal has been appointed as the new director of the Center for Teaching Excellence. She has been extensively involved with the center and has served for the past three years on its advisory board.

She has been on the faculty at IUP for ten years and is currently an associate professor in the Professionals Studies in Education Department.

In making the announcement, Provost Intemann also expressed his appreciation to Laurel Black for her unwavering leadership as the director of the center since 2006. “She has been a valuable resource for both new and returning faculty members in their pursuit of teaching excellence.”

Beginning this summer, the office of the Center for Teaching Excellence will be relocated to 137 Stouffer Hall.
