Rewards: Vocal Performance Major Earns Scholarship for Excellence

You probably have heard Franklin Mosley.

The senior music vocal performance major performs at many high-profile university events and has lent his voice to several video messages IUP sends to alumni. He performs in as many ensembles as he can fit into his schedule, and he is a volunteer instructor in IUP's Community Music School. He will enroll in graduate school next year.

Franklin has earned several scholarships at IUP. He is most proud of the Joan Frey Boytim Scholarship for Vocal Performance.

Many students at IUP are as active in their chosen fields as Franklin. They work hard in their academic class work but also lend their time and talent to activities that improve campus and community life. One way the university can reward students like Franklin is through the Deans Merit Scholarship program, which puts scholarship funding in the hands of IUP's six college deans, who know first hand the impact certain students make.

Your gift to the Deans Merit Scholarship program will reverberate from academic coursework, to service on campus, and to service in the community.
