Theater: The Monster in the Garden

Theater: The Monster in the Garden

Wednesday, February 26, 2014 9:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Waller Hall Mainstage, IUP Performing Arts Center

The Monster in the Garden is a gender-bending, provocative, comedy that asks all of us to believe in a little magic. A wild child lives on an enchanted island. One day, he comes upon a young woman and experiences the tumult of love in his heart for the first time and sets out in its pursuit. The only problem is that this wild child happens to be Achilles. What's a boy to do to be near his love but the seemingly impossible?

Written by Caridad Svich, directed by Dr. Rick Kemp
